Mike Glennon-QB-Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If you need a complete Hail Mary start today, Mike Glennon makes an interesting play as he makes his first NFL Start. Glennon was a third round pick out of North Carolina State in last year’s draft.

Glennon gets a pretty solid set of weapons with Mike Williams and Vincent Jackson wide and Doug Martin in the backfield. Both Jackson and Williams returned to practice Friday, so it’s looking like they’ll be able to play on Sunday against Arizona.

The Cardinals pass defense has allowed the third-most points to opposing QBs  allowing multiple touchdowns and at least 275 yards in each of their first three games. Glennon may not finish the day in the top ten QBs, but for a one week option that’s almost universally available he’s not a bad high-risk play. I’d take him over many established QB’s based on his matchup at home this week.
