The Arizona Cardinals game doesn’t kick off until this afternoon/evening and it’s possible they may be without top wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, this according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

While Schefter doesn’t say it’s a certainty that Fitzgerald will sit, he does say there are ‘bad vibes’ in regards to Fitzgerald’s hamstring:

"Nothing official on WR Larry Fitzgerald’s status until later, but some bad vibes about his status with Cardinals playing again Thursday."

As Schefter points out, the Cardinals play this coming Thursday so that would only give the former Pitt star a few days of recovery time, who is dealing with a nagging hamstring injury.

Fitzgerald missed time earlier in the season with the hamstring issue, though it was thought he had all but recovered from the problematic leg injury.

One of the most talented wide receivers in the league, Fitzgerald did practice Friday though obviously is not completely healthy and it’s possible the Cardinals may be wanting to take a cautious approach with their franchise talent. If he is unable to play, Andre Roberts will take his place in the starting lineup.
