In less than an hour, the San Diego Chargers along with quarterback Philip Rivers will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, three thousand miles away from Rivers’ home in California.

Normally, that wouldn’t be a big deal, but Rivers’ wife, Tiffany, is due to give birth to the couples seventh child at any time. That’s going to be a slight problem for Rivers, considering the distance. Thankfully though, technology is Rivers’ friend and assuming Tiffany can hold off until the game is complete, Rivers plans to watch the birth via Facetime on his IPad.

"The Chargers quarterback told 10News what he’ll do if their new bundle decides to make a game time appearance: “Facetime I reckon. Once in Jacksonville, I’m in Jacksonville,” he said."

Rivers, who has consistently suggested he’s not the most technologically advanced guy on the planet has repeatedly told San Diego media members in the past that he doesn’t own an IPhone, so when he suggested that he planned to watch via Facetime, that lead to a bit of confusion at Chargers Park. But through a quirky smile, Rivers said he never told them that he didn’t have an IPad.
