To say the San Francisco 49ers had a pretty difficult schedule to start the season would be an understatement.

Through their first six weeks of action, San Francisco played the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams and Houston Texans. Despite that, the 49ers have continued to march on, winning three straight en route to a 4-2 record.

It’s a record they hope to improve when they take on the 3-3 Tennessee Titans, who have surprised some with their solid play. But they too haven’t been blessed with much luck in regards to their schedule as for the third straight week, Tennessee will take on a team with a winning record.

The Titans, without starting quarterback Jake Locker gave the Seattle Seahawks all they could handle in Week 6, though, Tennessee was unable to secure that much needed touchdown late in the game that would have given them an upset victory. Still, their solid play, despite the recent losses has shown they’re much better than many anticipated they would be.

Will it be enough to take down the reigning NFC Champions though? Likely not as the surging 49ers, despite being on the road, should sneak out of Nashville with a victory.

Prediction:

49ers – 27

Titans – 21
