While trade rumors continue to swirl around Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, it appears more and more likely that if the All-Pro is moved, it will not be before or during Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

Rumors leaked Sunday morning that Fitzgerald would become a trade candidate next season and today, Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said he has not had one conversation with any other team in regards to Fitzgerald:

"Cardinals GM Steve Keim on @DougandWolf620: “I have not had one conversation regarding a trade with Larry Fitzgerald.”"

Of course, there’s no benefit for Keim to say otherwise, but I tend to believe him on this one.

The Cardinals are shockingly sitting at .500 and much of that has been without the help of Fitzgerald who has been hampered by lingering hamstring issues.

Of course, come this offseason when Fitzgerald’s nasty $18 million dollar cap hit comes into play, that’s a different story but for now it looks to be a pretty safe bet that Fitzgerald will remain in the Valley of the Sun come the trade deadline.
