Chargers at Dolphins: odds, predictions and preview

It’s been a strange season for both the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins.
San Diego, despite being 4-5 are literally just a handful of points and a field goal here or there away from a 6-3 record. Meanwhile, for Miami, after an impressive 3-0 start they’ve lost five of six (currently 4-5) though they too are simply just a few points away from having a winning record.
Needless to say, it’s been a season of missed opportunities for both squads though each team will have the chance to return to a respectable .500 record with a victory on Sunday evening/afternoon.
The Dolphins of course are coming off a rough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football, though given the circumstances surrounding the team it’s understandable that distractions may have gotten in their way. That’s a trend they hope to remove as it seems the bullying scandal is somewhat dying down.
For the Chargers, they come in off consecutive losses to the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos. Neither team is currently playing up to their expectations, so it should be interesting to see what type of effort we get from the squads.
