This season has not gone as planned for the Atlanta Falcons, thanks to a number of injuries and a struggling defense. One player that has watched his production suffer was veteran wide receiver Roddy White, who has been dealing with his own injuries throughout the first few weeks of the season.

While the team’s struggles could lead towards the team looking at White’s contract number as they look to make roster changes in the offseason, the team and White are expected to find an agreement that will keep both sides happy.

From Ian Rappoport of the NFL Network:

White is 32 years old and clearly showing a decline in his play, but he is a valuable part of the team’s offense and giving him the extension should help boost their offensive attack.
