WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs Results 2013: Randy Orton defeats John Cena for unified title (GIFs)

WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs is kicking off from Houston, Texas. This is the title unification match between Heavyweight Champion John Cena and WWE Champion Randy Orton. It is the only tables, ladders, and chairs match in the whole pay-per-vew event that has the name “Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.”

Orton comes out first and there is a weird pause. Orton is pacing in the ring and there is nothing going on. Orton yells come on and eventually Cena’s music comes on. When the music ends the ring announcer does the formal introductions and explains the rules of the match.

The on-screen graphic labels the match “Champion of Champions.”

The bell rings and they begin circling. There is roughly 40 minutes left so there is no rush to start the match. Finally the grapple and lock horns. They’re grappling in the corner. Cena gets Orton down with side headlock takedown.

Cena then got a shoulder take down and exited the ring going for a table. Orton came out and countered. Orton went straight for a ladder and set it up. Cena comes in, hits Orton, folds the ladder up and hits him with it. Orton rolls out towards the ramp, Cena goes back toward’s the announcer’s table to get a table.

He props it in the corner while Orton is back in the ring trying to recover. Orton gets picked up by Cena but reverses it. Orton tries to hit Cena’s head against it but he counters. Orton goes out of the ring gets a chair and hits Cena with it.

Cena is lying on the ground and Orton hits him with the top of the folded chair. Cena exits the ring and Orton comes after him as he tries to crawl away. Cena is against the steel steps when Orton swings the chair and hits him. He hits Cena again as he was laying on the ground next to the stairs. Cena climbs the corner post, Orton mocks him and swings the chair.

Cena ducks and Orton his the post with the chair. Cena picks up a chair and goes to work on Orton getting the upper-hand. He hits Orton a few times with the chair before going and setting up a table by the announcers. Cena drags Orton over and went for a power bomb onto the table. Orton gets out and throws Cena shoulder first into the steel steps.

Orton grabs a different ladder outside the ring and brings it into the ring. Orton sets up the ladder and starts to climb the ladder. He touches the belts but Cena has his leg. Orton retreats down the ladder and Cena gets a few hits in. Cena goes off the ropes but Orton drop kicks him. Both are slow to get up.

Orton folds up ladder and slides it out of ring. He goes to work on Cena with a kick and head but. Orton then stomps on Cena a bit near the corner. This goes on for a while.

There is still 35 minutes left in the event, or roughly, so they’re milking time.

Cena gets up and gets some strikes into get the momentum. He goes off the ropes again but Orton reverses it and Cena is on the mat again. Orton gets the ladder and slides it in. When he gets into the ring Cena hits him with the ladder in the guy.

Cena climbs the ladder but Orton gets to him quickly. Orton picked up Cena on his shoulders and slammed him. Orton folds up the ladder and is waiting for Cena to get up. He charges but Cena ducks and the ladder goes out of the ring. Orton grabs a chair quickly and hits Cena with that.

Orton then wedges the chair in the corner. Cena gets some momentum of the ropes and takes Orton down twice. He is calling for the “you can’t see me’ gesture but Orton kicks him in the face when he bends over. Orton throws him head first into the wedged chair in the corner.

Orton exits the ring and gets the ladder, Cena still hanging on the second rope in the corner. Orton sets up the ladder and is climbing the ladder. Orton gets his hand on one when Cena comes over and stops him. They’re both on the ladder when Cena knocks Orton off. Cena does the “you can’t see me” and hits the five knuckle shuffle off the ladder onto Orton.

Orton is standing on the side of the ring, after rolling under the top rope. Cena hits Orton with the ladder and Orton goes through a table outside the ring. Cena sets up the ladder. Cena climbs to the top and is trying to take the belts off but Orton gets back into the ring.

Orton pushes the ladder over, but Cena jumps off first. Orton hits Cena with an RKO as soon as Cena lands on his feet. Both men are laying in the ring. Orton gets to Cena first and hits him with strikes and head butts. Cena fights back and knocks Orton over the top rope.

Cena slams Orton’s head off the ring. Cena then hits Orton in the head with the steel chair. Orton is wobbling trying to get up, Cena still holding the steel steps. When Orton get sup and turns around Cena hits him with the steps again.

Cena grabs a table and sets it up in the corner in the ring where Orton is. Cena goes to pick up Orton outside the ring, and Orton hits him with a microphone he grabbed.

Cena is dazed and Orton has Cena on the step. He stomps on him on the steps. Cena is on the ground and Orton repeatedly hits Cena in the head with the microphone.

Orton starts taking apart the Spanish announcer’s table. There is a lot of down time as Orton walks around and Cena lays there. As Cena gets up Orton tries to kick him but Cena counters. Cena then hits Orton with an Attitude Adjustment through the table.

Cena is slow to get up but he gets to the ring and puts the ladder back up. Cena climbs the ladder and has his hands on both belts. Orton gets up and knocks over the ladder. Cena is hanging from the belts and Orton hits him with a chair like a piñata. When Cena is on the ground Orton pours on the chair shots.

Orton is ready to tee up Cena as he gets to his feet, but Cena spears him. Orton and Cena go through the table in the corner that Cena set up earlier. Orton is out of the ring looking for something and he finds the handcuffs. Orton gets one hand cuff on Cena and they’re fighting, then Orton gets the other one on the bottom rope. Orton has Cena cuffed to the bottom rope.

Orton is taunting Cena with the key and then throws it into the crowd. Cena is trying to break the chain with a ladder outside the ring. Orton gets a ladder and hits an unsuspecting Cena. Orton goes around the ring and goes to set up the ladder. Cena is trying to take apart the corner buckle as Orton sets up the ladder.

Cena takes it a part and climbs ladder still cuffed to the bottom rope. On each side of the ladder, Cena hits Orton with the buckle to knock Orton off. Cena is trying to take the belts off, but Orton gets up. Orton grabs the bottom rope and pulls Cena off the ladder and he lands on a table in the corner. Cena is laying there motionless while Orton is at the top of the ladder. Orton is slow to take the belts off the hook, savoring the moment.

Eventually he does and Randy Orton wins the unification match. Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon come out to congratulate Orton.
