WWE TLC Results 2013: Kofi Kingston defeats The Miz (GIF)

WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs is kicking off from Houston, Texas. This match up between The Miz and Kofi Kingston was a last minute addition. Kingston got the upper-hand quickly in the match. Kingston had Miz in the corner and Kingston was stomping on him.

Miz rolled out and Kinston followed him and went to work before throwing him back in the ring. Miz and Truth ended up back outside the ring and went to work. Kingston went for the trouble in paradise and ended up kicking the post. Miz got the duo back in the ring and went to work on Kingston’s ankle.

Kingston got a reverse, but Miz quickly regained control He went with some chops on Kingston who was on the ropes. Miz put Kingston’s ankle on the bottom rope and went to work on his leg again. Kinston kicked Miz off and over the rope to the ground.

Kingston limped out after him and went for a move but Miz countered and dropped him spread eagle on the top of the barricade. He then hit him and dragged him back into the ring. He went for a pin but Kingston kicked out.

Miz walked to the corner and removed the turnbuckle protector. Miz slammed Kingston and waited for him to get up. He walked him to the corner to slam his head on the exposed buckle but Kingston reverses and rolls up Kingston. Miz gets control again and climbs the top rope.

The “BORING!” chants started at this point.

Miz jumped off the top rope and Kingston countered. Kingston went for the SOS, but was countered and then Kingston missed with a trouble in paradise. He threw Miz into that exposed corner, when Miz stopped himself short, Miz turned to receive a foot to the face. Kingston then pinned Miz for the win.
