The Green Bay Packers are clinging to a postseason birth by their fingernails, so it’s understandable why fans are clamoring for the return of Aaron Rodgers.

With just two games remaining in the season and the Packers essentially needing to win out, Rodgers missing another game due to his collar bone injury could put a severe damper on their postseason aspirations – that’s assuming they aren’t completely washed away with a loss in Week 16.

The Packers MVP quarterback was seen practicing today and suggested he had made a lot of strides in progressing towards a return, but wouldn’t go any further about playing. He did however state that he has a good sense of what’s going to take place:

"Rodgers, on if he knows if he’ll be cleared: “I have a pretty good sense of what’s going to happen, yes.’"

Some have taken the suggestion as Rodgers knowing he won’t be cleared as the quote wasn’t received in the most exciting of contexts.

Either way, we’ll find out on soon as the Packers plan to announce their starter for Sunday’s Week 16 tilt on Friday morning.
