Aaron Hernandez might be thinking of the New England Patriots this Sunday as they battle the Denver Broncos in the 2014 AFC Championship, but the Patriots aren’t thinking about him – nor have they recently.

According to TMZ Sports, none of Hernandez’s former Patriots teammates have visited him during his eight months in jail.

"The New England Patriots don’t give a crap about Aaron Hernandez — at least not enough to visit the guy in jail … ’cause TMZ Sports has learned, not a single one of his former teammates has come to see him in the slammer. It’s been 8 months since the former star TE got locked up … and sources at the Bristol County jail tell us, exactly ZERO of his “friends” on the team have stopped by to cheer him up."

It’s a bit odd to think any of them would given what Hernandez is accused of, however, we’ve seen some teammates support players though some pretty questionable things before.

Hernandez was rumored to be an already relatively iffy teammate when he was a member of the Patriots, so getting any love from former colleagues doesn’t look likely.
