As the LeBron goes, so do NBA players.

If you missed it, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James decided to put on his own slam dunk contest during Monday’s practice – something that took the league by storm. Players around the league were seen watching the video in their locker rooms and on their cell phones, which apparently must’ve inspired New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis.

Davis, bored in practice, decided to throw the basketball off the wall and hammered down an windmill dunk to complete the sequence – a pretty impressive slam for anybody, let alone somebody pushing 6’11.

Teammates caught the footage of the 2014 NBA All-Star putting on his own dunk clinic, though, I highly suggest you watch the video with the sound completely turned off. It seems as if the Pelicans have some extremely irritating and obnoxious players (I’m looking at you Anthony Morrow) on their roster who like to scream until your ear drums bust.

I learned the hard way.

Still, an impressive sight for Davis, who at the end of the video says he wants to be in the NBA’s Slam Dunk contest.
