On Monday, a report surfaced that the Brooklyn Nets may use the disabled player’s exception they received because of center Brook Lopez’s foot injury that has sidelined him for the season to absorb the contract of big man Jordan Hill in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Tuesday,  another rumor involving the Nets came to the forefront.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Nets are talking to the Sacramento Kings about a deal that would send guard Jason Terry and big man Reggie Evans in exchange for guard Marcus Thornton.

Terry has not worked out in Brooklyn and the Nets would like to upgrade their front court.

Making another deal would not stop the Nets from attempting to acquire more depth in the front court, namely Hill.

Hill is quietly having a very good year for the struggling Lakers this season. He is averaging 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
