In the latest chapter of what has been on ongoing issue for the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team has come forth to publicly state that they have faith head coach Rick Adelman won’t be leaving the team this season and resigning from his position.

The issue stems from problems Adelman has been having with his wife’s health, something that dates back to last year when he was forced to take a hiatus from the team. Adelman thought about ben retiring last year but returned for another season in Minnesota.

Adelman’s future with the Wolves beyond this season is unclear, as many believe that president of basketball operations Flip Saunders — who used to coach the Timberwolves during the Kevin Garnett years — will take over in 2014-15 for Adelman.

Either way, it appears that Adelman will at least fish this season but it’s clearly not going to be easy on him for a number of reasons.
