Kevin Love is a certified monster. The entire NBA world knows about Love with regard to the fact that he is a versatile player who is a double-double machine, but over the weekend, Love set a new Minnesota T-Wolves franchise record that may shock some people.

Yes, Kevin Love is the franchise record holder in three-pointers.

Setting aside the fact that it’s borderline insane to see a physical power forward holding a team’s record for made 3-pointers, this is incredibly impressive. Love has appeared in 59 games this season, and he has knocked down 2.4 threes per game in route to the record of 144 in a season. Hilariously, Love passed Minnesota “great” Rashad McCants for the franchise honor, but regardless of the path to history, it is a record.

The scuttlebutt surrounding the now 25-year-old power forward is whether he will leave Minnesota at the first chance of freedom, but until then, it should be easy to focus on his incredible play. This season, Love is averaging 26.5 points and 13.1 rebounds per game with a sparkling 28.18 PER, and in a “normal” NBA that didn’t feature LeBron James and Kevin Durant, he may be considered an MVP candidate.

Congrats to Kevin Love on this impressive and “interesting” mark.
