The Miami Heat are doing what they can to bring back LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh while also attempting to bring in additional pieces to help the franchise return to it’s fifth straight NBA Finals. Two of the pieces of the puzzle may have already fallen into place though as John Canzano of The Oregonian suggests that both Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade are near completion on deals to re-sign with the Miami Heat.

More from Miami Heat

According to Canzano, Bosh’s alleged new deal with be a five-year contract while Wade’s will be a four-year deal. The first year of Bosh’s contract appears to be heavily reduced, only beginning at $11 million dollar – a far cry from the $20 million he made this past season.

As for Dwyane Wade, he too will allegedly sign a reduced deal though he’ll be making more than Chris Bosh as his four-year deal is expected to start at $12 million dollars.

Such deals would leave LeBron James as the lone member of the ‘Big 3’ yet to sign, which seems a bit odd as James would seemingly be the key piece for both Bosh and Wade to re-sign with the Miami Heat.

For what it’s worth, Canzano does echo the sentiment being thrust across the NBA wire, stating that James has no desire to take a discount be it for the Miami Heat or any other team.

Certainly take the report with some grains of salt, though Canzano does have a very solid track record, so the suggestions of new deals for both Wade and Bosh are interesting.
