All NBA fans know who DeMarcus Cousins is, but what about Sim Bhullar? The former Texas A&M product wasn’t drafted in June, but that didn’t stop him from getting a potential gig in the NBA as the Sacramento Kings decided to sign Bhullar to a Summer League contract.

More from NBA

Currently in Las Vegas practicing, Bhullar was spotted on the court standing next to DeMarcus Cousins and the size difference was shocking.

Keep in mind, DeMarcus Cousins, who has decided to practice with the summer league team, is a stout 6’11 and 270 pounds. That’s a pretty huge guy who when standing next to Bhullar looked like a point guard. Seriously, look at this difference.

So how big is Bhullar? Well, according to his latest measurements, the center clocked in at 7’5 and 355 pounds. Yeah, he’s pushing 80 pounds on Cousins who was viewed as one of the stronger big men in the NBA last season. Impressive.

Of course, as we know size doesn’t always translate on the court but Bhullar isn’t exactly the string bean 7’1, 195 pound centers we’ve seen in the past either so maybe he’ll have a future in the league.

For now the Sacramento Kings plans are to let him get his feet wet during the summer league and if all goes well, they’ll sign him to a deal and likely relocate him to their NBA D-League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns.

Understandably he’s a long way from ever making an impact on an NBA court, but if he ever does, his presence is sure to be felt and seen.
