The Toronto Raptors have had a busy offseason as not only did they re-sign Kyle Lowry, but they also retained restricted free agents Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson. On top of that, the team also signed James Johnson to a two-year contract on Thursday morning.

Despite that, they’re still not done as they’re apparently wanting to sign one more player before free agency ends.

That’s that word from Ryan Wolstat, though, there wasn’t much regarding who exactly the Toronto Raptors were looking to sign. Wolstat did go on to suggest that the Raptors are looking for an additional big man, though one that would be affordable given their current payroll.

Given that, it’s not likely that the Toronto Raptors will be looking to break the bank or even sign much of a name player, but the additional depth will hopefully be an asset as they attempt to build a roster for a second consecutive playoff run.

In addition, Wolstat mentioned that Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri also suggested that the team could afford to get a little bigger in the backcourt and may look to bring in an additional point guard, though that seems somewhat questionable given they already have a logjam at the position.

Regardless, be it a big man or a guard, it doesn’t appear as if the Toronto Raptors are done plugging holes on their roster just yet. The said player isn’t likely to be a difference player but should add to their already solid bench.
