Pac-12 football betting odds: Oregon is the favorite
The Stanford Cardinal have surprisingly become one of the powers in the Pac-12. Once they lost Jim Harbaugh to the San Francisco 49ers and he was replaced by David Shaw, most expected a drop-off. Instead, the Cardinal reached the Orange Bowl and blew out the Virginia Tech Hokies. Then, Andrew Luck left for the NFL and was the top-pick and Luck was credited for most of the Cardinal’s success. Since Luck was selected with the top-overall pick by the Indianapolis, the Cardinal have claimed two conference championships and a Rose Bowl victory.

What’s most interesting is that the Cardinal, who have won the conference and defeated the Cardinal in each of the last two season. Not only are the UCLA Bruins, who have been a trendy National Title pick this summer, ahead of them but the Southern Cal Trojans, who will be under the guidance of a new head coach, former Washington Huskies’ head coach Steve Sarkisian, also have better odds than the Cardinal.
