Golden State Warriors want to sign a big man
By Bryan Rose
The Golden State Warriors have been in the market for a ‘big man’ all offseason, though their attempts to trade for disgruntled power forward Kevin Love look all but dead. That doesn’t mean Golden State’s front office has given up their search for a big man however.

While nabbing a big name talent is likely off the board, the Warriors are looking to reinforce their interior defense with a small priced center/power forward according to Nate Duncan of Basketball Insiders. One such name who could be a fit is former Golden State Warriors talent Ekpe Udoh, who most recently played for the Milwaukee Bucks.
"They need another backup C, and old favorite Ekpe Udoh would be a good target. Festus Ezeli is coming off a year-long injury and was horrendous offensively as a rookie. I doubt he improved his hands much with a year of inactivity, so that’s a huge need. Unfortunately they only have the minimum to offer, but I think they have enough playing time at the backup big role that it should be attractive to a minimum guy."
It’s been previously reported that the Golden State Warriors attempted to sign Eric Moreland, though the former Oregon State product decided to sign with the Sacramento Kings instead.
With the injury concerns of Andrew Bogut and not a lot of size on the Golden State roster, whomever signs should be in line for a decent amount of playing time so the Golden State front office certainly wants to find somebody who won’t be a complete dud – not exactly an easy task when it comes to out of work seven-footers.
