If there is any aspect of Johnny Manziel’s game that has made him one of the more famous players in the game of football the past few years, it’s been his ability to run. When he takes off with the ball, people are glued to the TV. Well in his NFL debut on Saturday night for the Cleveland Browns against the Detroit Lions, he showed that he could still do it at the NFL level.

More from Cleveland Browns

Manziel came into the game for the Browns in the second quarter after starter Brian Hoyer had played three drives, and his playing time spilled over into the second half.

Over halfway through the third quarter, with the team facing a 3rd-and-8, Manziel got some pressure in the pocket, and he put the ball down and was able to keep the drive alive.

Johnny Football lives in the NFL!

That is what makes him one of the most dynamic players in the entire game of football, and although people say he won’t be able to do it at this level, he’s proving people pretty wrong so far.

Unfortunately, though, after Manziel was able to pick up another first down, the drive ended with a fumble from running back Dion Lewis.
