With the countdown to kickoff being days away instead of weeks or months, it’s time for everyone to get their preseason lists out.  Fox released it’s preseason All America list on Thursday.

More from College Football

Here is their list:

QB: Marcus Mariota, Oregon: Mariota would have been a sure first round pick in this year’s NFL Draft. Instead, he wants to try to win a title.

RB: Todd Gurley, Georgia: Gurley still had 16 touchdowns despite missing three games last year.  The Dawgs are his team now.  Can they make some noise in the SEC East?

RB: Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin: If he has a massive game against LSU, the Heisman talk will begin before September does…..

WR: Rashad Greene, Florida State: With Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw gone, Greene will become FSU’s number one receiver.

WR: Antwan Goodley, Baylor: The Bears like to throw. A lot. Petty to Goodley is going to win the Bears a lot of games again this year.

T: Andrus Peat, Stanford: He is the only starter left on the line for the Cardinal, so he had better be good!

G: Laken Tomlinson, Duke: Tomlinson was a first team All-ACC selection last season.

C: Hroniss Grasu, Oregon: He is a two-time veteran of All-Pac 12 lists. Now he makes the jump to All American.

T: Cameron Erving, Florida State: He was an All-American last year as well.

DE: Vic Beasley, Clemson: He is the star of the defensive line that led the nation in tackles for loss last year.

DT: Leonard  Williams, USC: He has started since he arrived at USC in 2012, and has the rookie of the year and all conference awards to prove he earned it.

DE: Shilique Calhoun, Michigan State: He will be the leader of the front seven for Sparty this year.

LB: Trey DePriest, Alabama: He will be looked upon to be the leader now that C.J.Mosley is gone.

LB: Myles Jack, UCLA: He was a punisher at RB and well as LB last year. He should be defense-only this year.

LB: Shaq Thompson, Washington: He was a freshman All American last year.  He looks to prove it isn’t a fluke.

LB: Ramik Wilson, Georgia: He led the SEC in tackles last year.

CB: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Oregon: He is another first round pick that return to Duck U for a championship run.

S: Landon Collins, Alabama: He will look to pick up where Ha Ha Clinton-Dix left off.

S: Jalen Ramsey, Florida State: He started all 14 games as a true freshman on a championship team last year.

CB: Kendall Fuller, Virginia Tech: He was the defensive rookie of the year in the ACC last year.

K: Roberto Aguayo, Florida State: He set the NCAA record for points in a season by a kicker last year with 157.

P: Drew Kaser, Texas A&M: He averaged almost 48 yards a punt last year, and he may be punting more this year.

KR: Ryan Switzer, North Carolina: He tied the single season NCAA record with five punt returns for touchdowns last year.

AP: Ty Montgomery, Stanford: He averaged  almost 158 all purpose yards per game last year.
