At the beginning of the month, Cleveland Browns’ wide receiver Josh Gordon and his attorneys went to the league offices to appeal his potential year-long suspension.

More from Cleveland Browns

Gordon failed a drug test for the second time and blamed second-hand marijuana smoke for the results of the test.

Almost three weeks later, there still has not been a resolution.

Harold Henderson, who met with Gordon and his team, still hasn’t’ made a decision. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and The NFL Network, no ruling will come before the end of this week.

Gordon has continued to play in the preseason and the Browns are hopeful they can get him back at sometime this season. Outside of Gordon, the Browns don’t have a lot of proven commodities at the postion.

Gordon made 87 receptions for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns in 2013 after making 50 catches for 805 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie in 2012. Clearly, he was on his way to a big pay day.
