The Cleveland Browns make a quick turnaround after a loss to the Washington Redskins earlier this week on Monday Night Football, as they play host to the St. Louis Rams in Week 3 of the NFL preseason.
On Wednesday, the Browns named Brian Hoyer the starting quarterback for the regular season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so he will need to use Saturday’s dress rehearsal as an opportunity to shake off the rust he has shown throughout the first two weeks.
Hoyer has struggled to start off the preseason, so he needs to find a way to lead the Browns to their first win in their most important game of the preseason if he wants to build some confidence in the huddle before the games begin to count.
