LSU head coach Les Miles: Both Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris will play vs. Wisconsin
By Jack Crosby
The Alabama Crimson Tide isn’t the only program in the SEC having a tough time finding a replacement for the quarterback slot. No, Les Miles and the LSU Tigers are in the same boat, and Miles expressed to the media during his time with them on Monday that both Anthony Jennings and freshman Brandon Harris will take snaps on Saturday in their opener vs. Wisconsin.
Jennings is the one with the most experience, albeit minimal. Last season he stepped in for Zach Mettenberger when the former starter went down with a knee injury in the final game of the regular season against the Arkansas Razorbacks, and he started the bowl game as well.

In nine game appearances total last season, including mop-up duty, Jennings finished with 181 yards on 13-of-21 passing with a touchdown.
Despite having just a bit of experience as the quarterback for the Tigers, though, true freshman and prized recruit Brandon Harris has done nothing in camp so far to show Miles and the coaching staff that he’s not ready.
The former no. 3 dual-threat QB in the class of 2014 will now have the opportunity in a big-time game against one of the best teams in the Big Ten that he can run this team all on his own.
