The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a 36-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last Thursday in the NFL’s opening game, and fans are already beginning to jump ship. There were quite a few flaws in the Packers’ game plan, and it came back to bite them in a major way. While the loss certainly wasn’t pretty, there is absolutely no reason for Green Bay fans to begin panicking and worrying about the rest of the season.

There are plenty of reasons for fans to calm down and take the first loss of the season with a grain of salt. Yes, there are some concerns about the health of the roster after some key injuries, but they are still a talented football team that played with Seattle for about three quarters. Aaron Rodgers is still the starting quarterback, and that will give Green Bay a chance to win each and every week.

Defensively there were quite a few obvious holes that the Seahawks exploited, but they were mostly due to lack of tackling. If the Packers had made the tackles that they usually make, they would have had a chance to cut 10-14 points off of the scoreboard. The offense looked fairly out of sync as well, which simply isn’t going to be the case for the majority of the season.

What five reasons do Packers fans have to not panic and stay confident in their team?
