Ha Ha Clinton-Dix doesn’t think Rex Ryan is very funny
By Cory Buck
The New York Jets wanted a safety in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft and they had two in mind. They took Calvin Pryor and the Green Bay Packers later took Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Now the two teams prepare to play each other in Week 2. Clinton-Dix heard Ryan’s reasoning for passing up on him and he was unamused to say the least.

Ryan cited Pryor’s ability to ‘knock your face in’ as the reason he took Pryor over Clinton-Dix. Ha Ha’s response was hardly an airy laugh.
“I’m not afraid to do that at all,” Clinton-Dix said per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “And you’re going to continue to see that out of me. If that’s what they thought, hey, that’s on him. I’m going to show him.”
There’s nothing like the NFL draft to create a lifelong chip on the shoulder of a professional athlete. The primary difference between the two has been cited in style. Pryor was allowed to roam and go wild in Louisville while Clinton-Dix played in the rigid Alabama system.
“I can’t take anything away from Pryor — that’s my boy,” Clinton-Dix said. “He’s a hell of a hitter. He does his thing. It was the same thing in college. He had the ability to roam around. I had to play in a scheme.”
We’ll see who gets the biggest hit, and the last laugh, when the two teams play on Sunday.
