So here are the top 25 wide receivers to start week 3 with the top five here and the next two groups of 10 on the following slides:

Calvin Johnson. 1. player. 50. Even after a slow week 2, Megatron is still number one on this list.  He’s a target monster with 24 in his two games so far this season converting 13 for a total of 247 yards and a pair of touchdowns from week one.  Look for the Lions and Packers to put up plenty of points in a shootout in Detroit.. Detroit Lions. Week 3 vs Packers

Week 3 @ Lions. Jordy Nelson. 2. player. 49. The Packers will look to match Megatron with their own top receiver. Nelson was targeted 16 times on Sunday and finished with 9 catches for the second straight game.  He finished with over 200 yards receiving in the Packers comeback win over the Jets including an 80-yard TD catch.  The Lions secondary hasn’t been tested much in the early going this season but looks like it should be a good matchup for Nelson to duel Megatron in a matchup of top receivers. . Green Bay Packers

123. After just four catches in week 1, Bryant was targeted 14 times in Sunday’s win in Tennesse.  He finished with 10 catches for 103 yards and his first touchdown of the season showing that he’s well-established as Tony Romo’s best and favorite target.  Both Dez and Romo missed part practice Wednesday, but assuming both are healthy, Bryant is a top-5 WR start against the Rams who have given up the eight-most fantasy points to WR so far this season.  . Dallas Cowboys. Week 3 @ Rams. Dez Bryant. 3. player

Brandon Marshall. 4. player. 57. Marshall overcame his ankle injury to put on a clinic on Sunday night rewarding those owners who rolled the dice and left him in their lineup.  He caught three touchdown passes to take the league lead.  Marshall hasn’t reached 75 yards receiving in either of his first two games, but he’s a huge target for Jay Cutler and headed into his best matchup of the season so far.  The Jets are pretty stout against the run, but their secondary is vulnerable and they’ve allowed more fantasy points to opposing WR than any other team in the league.  Marshall is a must-start WR1 this week in a great matchup.. Chicago Bears. Week 3 @ Jets

Atlanta Falcons. Week 3 vs Buccaneers. Julio Jones. 5. player. 44. Jones will have to battle the Thursday Night Football drag which usually pulls down everyone’s production.  The good news for Jones owners is that he’s coming off back-to-back seven catch games to open the season and now takes on the Bucs who he had torched in their last two meetings for 203 yards and a touchdown.  Look for Julio to continue his comeback tour as a top receiver tonight.
