Penn State got two field goals from Sam Ficken in the first quarter against Massachusetts but then Belton went off in the second quarter with two touchdown runs to widen the lead for the Nittany Lions against the Minutemen.

Belton’s first score was an impressive scamper where he took the toss to the left and made one defender miss and then shook off a would-be tackler to race to the end zone to put Penn State up 13-0. Here is the video of the run by Belton.

Beltonn added a second touchdown in the quarter following a UMASS fumble and scored form 20 yards out on a two-play scoring drive to extend the lead to 20 in the middle of the second quarter. Belton currently has 67 yards on six carries as he has done the heavy lifting for the Penn State offense today.
