We have received word from the hospital that Sweat did not suffer any broken bones in the collision but did have a dislocated knee cap that was put back in place at the hospital. He will undergo an MRI tonight to check the extent of the damage and look for any tendon and ligament damage.”

The 6-4, 240-pound defensive end is the No. 1 recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and was scheduled to be visiting Virginia Tech this weekend. Other schools in the picture for Sweat include Georgia, Florida State and Oregon who will receive an official visit from Sweat and Tennessee and Ohio State remain in contention.

Sweat had four sacks in last week’s game after posting 22 sacks last year along with 94 tackles and 31 tackles for loss.
