Dealing with a sprained shoulder, Jackson will make his first career appearance against the Eagles, with whom he spent the first six seasons of his career prior to being cut by Philadelphia in March.
Jackson signed with the Redskins in part because he wanted two chances a season to face the Eagles.
He was Philadelphia’s top wide receiver a year ago with 82 catches for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl berth as a receiver for the first time after two trips as a return specialist.
In two games this season, Jackson has nine catches in 11 targets for just 81 yards.
The rest of the inactives for the game include:
Washington
- DE Kedric Goldston
- QB Robert Griffin III
- LB Akeem Jordan
- OT Morgan Moses
- WR Santana Moss
- CB Tracy Porter
- TE Jordan Reed
Philadelphia
For the Eagles, tight end Zach Ertz is active despite being on the injury report with a knee injury this week.
