Although the Hokies are struggling once again, they got off to a very quick start in Saturday’s game against the Western Michigan Broncos.
Just eight seconds into the game, Ronny Vandyke forced a fumble and Andrew Motuapuaka scooped it up and went 11 yards into the end zone to make it 7-0 Hokies.
The Broncos cut the lead to 11-7 later in the opening quarter but the Hokies have added a touchdown to push the lead to 18-7.
