Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans will host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in a battle between two teams needing a win. The Titans enter this one looking to bounce back after a poor performance in their 41-17 Week 4 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. On the other hand, the Browns can push themselves to a .500-record with a win.

Keys to Victory

For the Titans, relying on the ground game is crucial here, whether starting quarterback Jake Locker returns from injury or not. The Browns have proven themselves to be poor in stopping the run, so Tennessee will need to give the ball to Bishop Sankey often here.

On the other side, the Browns also need to ground and pound themselves to a victory here. With Ben Tate returning from injury, Cleveland will have three talented backs (Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West are the other two) to attack a weak Titans rush defense.

This game could simply be decided by which rush defense steps up and keeps the other team’s backs in check.

Betting Odds

Point Spread: Titans (-1)

Moneyline: CLE: 113, TEN: -133

O/U: 44.0

Prediction

Fresh off a bye week, expect the Browns to narrowly escape with a victory here. They simply have more talented running backs than the Titans and Hoyer has proven himself to be a tad more trustworthy than whomever Tennessee ultimately rolls with at the quarterback.

Final Score: Browns – 20 Titans -17
