It’s been a rough day for the Seattle Seahawks who are not only without Percy Harvin (who they traded on Friday) but are also down to their third-string tight end. Needless to say, they’ve struggled as a unit offensively against the St. Louis Rams though quarterback Russell Wilson has been electric on his feet.

Wilson has made multiple Rams defenders look silly throughout the day though none more so than on a 52-yard run on the first play of the fourth quarter.

Facing a third and nine, Wilson took off down the sideline and simply couldn’t be stopped as he ripped off the run.

The 52-yard scurry was the longest rush of his career and put the Seattle Seahawks within striking range of the St. Louis Rams who earlier in the day had a three score lead. That has gradually disapated however thanks to the strong play from Russell Wilson as he’s helped bring the Seahawks back and now have made a game of what originally looked to be a blowout.

A very impressive play by the Pro Bowl quarterback, especially considering he looked to have no lane when he decided to tuck the ball and run. Some rather poor tackling on the part of the St. Louis Rams as well, though credit given where it’s due to Wilson who looked quite nimble on the play.
