A video of an 8 year old boy with Down Syndrome scoring a touchdown for a local Wisconsin high school has become this week’s best feel good story.

8 year old Gabe White loves football. And he likes to watch his brother play it. So after Rhinelander High School faced off against Mosinee High School, the team surprised their honorary captain for the week with a chance to see some in game action with both teams staying after the final whistle.

As it turns out, White has quite a few moves for a kid his age, as he took the kickoff return all the way to the house.

The NFL analysts were even impressed.

In a time when football has been getting a ton of heat from the media regarding domestic violence and child abuse scandals, it can feel like a burden to be a fan of the sport.

That is why stories such as this one are all the more special.

Not only is this heartwarming and inspirational, but it also shows the lighter side of the game; teamwork, and unbridled fun.
