Nike has placed a massive LeBron James banner on a building just blocks from the Cleveland Cavaliers’ arena.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

For weeks we’ve been hearing about the new LeBron James banner scheduled to debut in downtown Cleveland.

Today we see the final results as the ‘billboard’ was placed upon a building near the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ arena. You can probably see it from space however given it’s massive size.

Located just around the block from Quicken Loans Arena, the banner was hung on the Sherwin-Williams building which is where many of LeBron James’ previous banners have been placed.

I’m going to assume that the Sherwin-Williams building is actually an operating business which makes the placement of those windows incredibly odd. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a building like that. It’s almost as if the builders simply decided to stick window frames where they wanted after they forgot they were to install them.

On the flip side the strange locale of the windows seems to be beneficial to the LeBron James banner since it seemingly takes up multiple floors of the structure.

You’ll also likely notice that LeBron James’ jersey actually reads ‘Cleveland’ on the back where his nameplate would normally be located. Presumably that was a gesture on behalf of James who wanted to pay homage to the city with the billboard/banner.

Has to be a pretty surreal feeling to drive to work and see a four story image of yourself blowing in the wind.
