The Western New York and Buffalo area have been hammered by snow fall and it has brought the region to a stand still. The pictures have been nothing short of remarkable with over 70 inches of snow falling in some parts of the region.
That has forced the Buffalo Bills to cancel practice and has raised serious questions about whether or not they’d be able to play the game even. Ultimately, the NFL decided to move the Bills’ game against the New York Jets to Detroit, and moved it to Monday night as well.
“Public safety resources in western New York must be fully available to deal with the recovery from the storm,” the NFL said in a statement.
The game will be broadcast in local markets on CBS, but the fans of those teams outside of the local markets wouldn’t be able to watch it.
That is until DirecTV announced that the game will be made available to Sunday Ticket subscribers.
