The Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Denver Broncos during this week’s edition of Sunday night football, and obviously they will be doing so without safety Eric Berry, who is away from the team as he takes care of his recent Lymphoma diagnosis.
However, just because he won’t be on the field taking on that high-powered Broncos offense, that doesn’t mean that Chiefs are not keeping him with them in spirit.
As they were warming up on Sunday night in Arrowhead, players were seen wearing Eric Berry No. 29 shirts as they were getting themselves ready for battle.
Berry is one of the more beloved and respected players around the NFL, and you know that he’s loved more than anything by his teammates. This amazing sign of respect before their huge game with the Broncos is more than proof positive of that.
