The Phoenix Suns are receiving a significant amount of trade calls as rival NBA teams are interested in Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas and Goran Dragic.

When the Phoenix Suns signed Isaiah Thomas this past offseason, many wondered what exactly the franchise was doing considering they already had Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic on the roster.

Now the trio of backcourt players are doing what they can to split up their minutes in effort to keep everybody happy, but with the NBA’s trade deadline approaching in less than two months it appears rival teams around the league are attempting to gauge the Suns desire to blowup their current roster.

Per Ken Berger of CBS Sports:

"Multiple teams already are inquiring as to what it would take to break up the Suns’ three-headed guard rotation of Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas — with Dragic, a prospective free agent, garnering the most attention."

The NBA scribe goes on to suggest the one player the Phoenix Suns would most like to keep on their roster is Goran Dragic, however with his impending free agency it appears the Suns are at least willing to listen to trade offers, if for no other reason than to get a perspective on his value around the league.

As for Eric Bledsoe, he’s only signed through this season as well and will be an unrestricted free agent at season end so he’s unlikely to bring much of a return at all, leaving Isaiah Thomas as the lone player who is signed to a long-term deal.

Given that it would seem unlikely any trade for Bledsoe or Dragic would net the Phoenix Suns much of a return considering they’d essentially be viewed as rental players.
