Although the New England Patriots came away with a victory on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets, it wasn’t easy. Given that, it’s likely many Pats fans were irritated at the tight score and began venting towards an equally frustrated New York Jets fanbase.
That’s a recipe for disaster, especially when one of the said fans has a full plate of nachos in their hands.
Apparently thrown out of the game, the New England Patriots fan, escorted by security was making his way to the exits as he was taunted by Jets fans. Most of those were verbal in nature, though one fan decided to stick his hand out.
The purpose of such remains unknown, though the presumably intoxicated Pats fan was none too happy and quickly began throwing punches towards the Jets fan.
Security was quick to react and did their best to grab the fighting Patriots fan, pulling him away from those still in their seats. Everything looked to be on its way to calming down, but that’s when the unhappy Jets fan launched a plate of nachos, complete with orange gooey cheese at the Patriots fan.
I’m going to assume that wasn’t a fresh plate of nachos, because if it was, that cheese could have given the Patriots supporter a third-degree burn. Seriously, that stuff gets boiling hot.
In the end, it looks like he may have spent a night in jail smelling of manufactured cheese sauce.
