At a time when drug tests are the talk of the mixed martial arts world, middleweight title challenger Vitor Belfort is one man who has been able to pass his random tests.

There were plenty of people who believed Vitor Belfort would not be able to stay clean leading up to his UFC 184 bout against Chris Weidman for the UFC middleweight title, but so far, so good for the former testosterone replacement therapy poster boy.

According to Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett, Belfort has taken three random drug tests and passed all three.

Bennett also stated that Belfort has been very professional throughout the process.

“Both him and his wife have been extremely cooperative, polite, professional and friendly throughout this process,” Bennett said, via MMAFighting.com. “They have been consummate pros to date.”

The NSAC could continue to test Vitor Belfort leading up to the fight, so hopefully he can remain clean.

UFC 184 takes place on Feb. 28 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. In the co-main event, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will face her toughest test to date as she takes on the unbeaten Cat Zingano.
