In a pretty well-executed give and go play with Kevin Martin Bennett takes the feed and throws down a sick behind the back dunk. The 76ers defender was just confused enough to allow Bennett to get free and throw it down.

Anthony Bennett, the former No. 1 overall lottery pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2013, was at one time a player who was labeled a bust for the Cavaliers. He was traded, along with the 2014 No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, in the deal that sent Kevin Love to Cleveland to team up with Kyrie Irving and LeBron James.

Anthony Bennett has shown some flashes of nice play for the Timberwolves, but has not really progressed to the level that they would like. The dunk in this game was Bennett’s lone points on the evening in a total of seven minutes on the court. On the season, Bennett is averaging 5.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, .5 steals and .3 blocks per game.

According to BasketballReference.com those numbers would only average out to 12.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Not bad numbers, but not quite what you would expect from a #1 overall draft pick. I suppose it maybe is a bit too early to label Bennett as a bust, but I can’t help but think what the Cavaliers would look like had they took Victor Oladipo with that pick instead.
