Jacksonville Jaguars planning amazing practice facility
The Jacksonville Jaguars are making big plans for the NFL‘s first triple-tiered practice facility to add on to previous plans of renovations for their stadium.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are making big moves this offseason. Not in personnel like you may assume, but in style. The Jags are making big plans to not only make some changes to their own stadium, but they’re planning on helping renovate downtown Jacksonville as a whole, to create a more inviting atmosphere for large events.

These renovations include a state of the art, never before seen, three-tiered practice field facility that looks like something out of a movie or a SkyMall catalog. The Jags tweeted this amazing picture of their plans today.
According to the Jaguars website, team owner Shad Khan as well as team president Mark Lamping, presented this idea to change the Shipyards riverfront property into an entertainment district in Jacksonville. The property in all is about 48 acres of City-owned property on the north bank of the St. Johns River.
Khan said according to a press release, that the new location for the stadium has the potential to be iconic.
"“The Shipyards would give Downtown Jacksonville the kind of iconic identity that many downtown districts in the United States enjoy and we currently lack. But it doesn’t work or make sense if it doesn’t provide jobs, boost our economy and self-confidence, stabilize the future of the Jaguars franchise and improve our overall quality of life. Our proposal to partner with the City of Jacksonville on this project will achieve this and more.”"
The Jags are already making renovations to their own stadium to welcome more fans, and now they’re taking it to a whole new level. While this may not mean more wins for the Jags, it may mean a better experience for fans and in return, more money for the team as well as the City of Jacksonville.
