NFL media analyst Mike Mayock still believes that Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel can turn his career around and be successful.

The Cleveland Browns are entering a very difficult offseason for their franchise, especially after the embarrassing rookie season that quarterback Johnny Manziel went through.

Obviously there is a lot of concern within the Browns’ organization moving forward, and there are quite a few analysts and fans who don’t believe Manziel will ever turn things around and get his career back on track.

That being said, NFL analyst Mike Mayock does believe in Manziel. He believes that Manziel has what it takes to get away from the negatives that are pulling him down, and that he can become a successful NFL quarterback.

It is a bold statement to say the least, but there is no denying the talent that Manziel possesses.

Manziel has already received quite a bit of harsh criticism, and perhaps that is exactly what he has needed. After being drafted in the first round last year, there is a lot more on his shoulders than he is used to.

During the 2014 season, Manziel ended up throwing for just 175 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. He looked completely stunned by the speed of the game, and wasn’t able to make any of the same plays that he made in college.

It is going to be very interesting to see whether or not analysts like Mayock are proven right for continuing to believe in Manziel. His potential is through the roof, but many talented players before Manziel have ruined their careers because they were head cases.
