Wilmer Flores cries at shortstop after Mets trade him to Brewers (Video)

The New York Mets traded Wilmer Flores on Wednesday night and he was getting pretty emotional at shortstop
Wednesday night we received the news that we all thought was coming eventually, that being the Brewers trading Carlos Gomez to the Mets. As we know now, the deal went through as the Mets were playing at Citi Field, and one of the pieces of the deal was shortstop Wilmer Flores.
Well, instead of taking him out of the game after he was notified he would be going elsewhere, they left him in there at short and his emotions more than certainly got the best of him.
That’s a real tough visual to take in, because you really have to feel for the kid. You also have to ask yourselves why they didn’t just remove him from the game after he found out, but that’s a different story for a different day.
The Mets were thought for most of the day on Wednesday to be the front runners to land the services of Gomez from the Brewers, and just a short time ago tonight that became a reality.
