TCU Horned Frogs vs Minnesota Golden Gophers

The TCU Horned Frogs kick off their quest for a championship on Thursday, September 3 up in Minneapolis at TCF Bank Stadium. Gary Patterson’s boys will face a nice challenge from Jerry Kill’s Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Minnesota could be a wildcard coming out of the Big Ten West this year. Wisconsin lost its coach and a Heisman-caliber running back, and Nebraska should look dramatically different under Mike Riley. All things considered, Minnesota could slide right into the Big Ten Championship Game if the division’s top two squads stumble under new leadership.

On the flip side, there’s TCU. Trevone Boykin is the Heisman favorite right out the gates, and can earn a lot of cachè if he pounds the daylights out of a solid Big Ten program. After missing out on the inaugural College Football Playoff, look for the Horned Frogs to play with a Texas-sized chip on their shoulders all year long.

If you’re near a television, then you can watch this game on ESPN. If not, fear not. We have everything you need to catch the action. Below are the details for online live stream as well as radio. Buckle up and enjoy the first day of college football season.
