A look at some of the winners and losers from the college football AP Poll that was released for Week Six of the season

Through five weeks of the college football season here in 2015, one thing that we know is, quite frankly, that we may know nothing at all. Just when we think that we have it all figured out, we enter a new week and leave bewildered and confused. Such was the case during Week Five of the college football season, the results of which ended up having some pretty serious implications on the AP Poll heading into Week Six.

Yes, especially with all the action that we saw on Saturday, there was a pretty big shakeup in the landscape of college football.

One of the top teams in the poll, one that we thought could be a legitimate contender in the SEC and in the College Football Playoff, was embarrassed on the national stage just two weeks after they stole everyone’s hearts with a win over Alabama. That was one of the more telling revelations that we really don’t know anything about what’s going on this season.

Then, we had a marquee match up in prime time between two of the top teams in the country that came down to the wire. But when all was said and done, it was the team from Death Valley that kept their hopes firmly alive for a potential national championship.

The Week Six AP Poll rankings were just released a short time ago, so let’s have a look at which teams are winning and which teams are losing as we head into Week Six of the season.
