A peek at what the Top 25 in college football might look like on Sunday after what has been a pretty crazy Week Five

Well, now, Week Five of the college football season really was all we could have asked for and more. We did learn, though, that we really don’t know much about the landscape of the college football universe after all that we did see. With this being the case, the Top 25 rankings will be looking a little different on Sunday.

Of course, the real story coming out of Saturday was the No. 3 Ole Miss Rebels, just two weeks removed from defeating Alabama, getting throttled by the Florida Gators on the road. Just when it looked as if Ole Miss might be the team to beat in the nation, we learned very differently, for the second year in a row. So, how far will the Rebels drop?

Then there was the blunder from the No. 2 team in the country, the Michigan State Spartans. They did defeat Purdue, but they needed everything they had in the tank to get the job done. More and more, Michigan State might not be as good as we thought, we’re learning.

Finally, we have the No. 1 team in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes. Once again, they played rather poorly, but this time they almost paid the price for it. They needed right until the end to take down Indiana, which won’t impress a lot of voters.

So, how might the Top 25 look after Saturday? Let’s have a look.
