With the San Diego Chargers set to have a high pick in the draft, here is a complete seven-round mock draft.

The San Diego Chargers had a disastrous season 2015, which could lead to a regime change and even a city change, although the team’s performance this past season wasn’t the catalyst for the latter.

What is known about the Chargers is that they will have a top pick in the draft, which will probably be the No. 3 pick. With the No. 3 pick, the Chargers have to hit an absolute home run of a pick and draft the next big superstar in San Diego.

The team already has Philip Rivers locked into a big contract, which means unlike other teams toward the top, the Chargers can draft best player available and focus on other needs.

They will have the pick of what they want at the No. 3 spot. They can go a variety of ways, whether it’s skill, line or even secondary. When a team like the Chargers is drafting so high, it means they need a lot of help with their team.

What will also be key for the Chargers’ drafting decisions in 2015, is whether or not head coach Mike McCoy or anyone in the front office returns next season.

If the Chargers decide to make a switch, then strategies could change and the team could go in an entirely different direction than what anyone expects.

If they’re going to compete in the AFC West again, they have to nail this draft. Otherwise, their window with Rivers as the team’s franchise quarterback continues to get shorter and shorter. The Chargers are currently slated to have six picks in the draft next season, as the team does not have a fifth-round pick.

With the Chargers in full draft mode, here is a complete seven-round mock for the Chargers’ 2016 NFL Draft.
