Round 1: Jalen Ramsey, CB (Florida State)

The San Diego Chargers are going to need a lot of help with their secondary in 2016. They have one great, young corner in Jason Verrett, but everywhere else just looks bad when looking ahead to the 2016 season.

Brandon Flowers is okay at best and Eric Weddle doesn’t look like he is going to return to the team as a free agent, especially with how things have turned personal between the two sides.

The best way to fix the secondary and get people excited about the secondary, would be to take one of the top defensive backs off the board. Jalen Ramsey would be a great pick by the Chargers, as he has tremendous range.

Not only can he play corner, but he is big and powerful. He can slot in as a safety and use his range to be a dynamic defensive back for a safety.

His great instincts naturally pull him to the football and he can also be a threat to sack the quarterback, as Florida State was never afraid to bring him off the edge. The San Diego Chargers are going to need to revamp their secondary in the draft and Ramsey should be their first pick.

He’s worth the No. 3 pick in the draft.
